How do I charge supplies to my departments and track my General Ledger numbers when placing POs for non-stocks?

 

When creating a purchase order for a vendor, you can click any field on the line item to add or edit information for that product. You can also select the “Open Grid Window” Button to modify all line items at once. Next, enter in the department number to be charged for each product. (The department will be charged for the supplies at time of PO submission)

In most cases, the GL Code is automatically pulled onto the PO if it has already been entered during inventory setup.
