§ Select Operations Tab then Replenishment Tab.
§ Select New Par Area Link on left navigation bar.
§ Input a Par Area Name and Number to track the Par Area by.
§ Select the Facility you plan on pulling Inventory from.
§ Select the Department that will be charged for any replenished inventory.
§ Add any GL Code or Notes that may need to be tracked for this Par Area.
§ If you want to copy a list of products in another Par Area, select the Par Template Link and select the Par Area you want to copy.
§ Click the Add Par Area Button to create the new Par Area.
§ Click the Add Items Tab to add products to your Par Area.
§ Select the Inventory Location you want to replenish the products from and select your products. A Par Area can have multiple products replenished from multiple Inventory Locations.
§ Input your Min/ Max values based on the Stock UOM displayed next to the product. Also, add the Bin/Shelf location if used.
§ Click Add Selected Button to add products to the Par Area.
§ Use the Delete Selected Button to remove any products from a Par Area.
§ Use the Search Menu under Par Area items to pull up products in a Par Area.”
§ Use the UDF Tab (User Defined Field) to add any specific information pertaining to a Par Area. The UDF information is created and maintained under the Organization Tab / User Defined Fields. This area is usually used for inputting required data for interfacing a Par Area into a third-party Materials Management System.
The View Count Sheet Button automatically generates the Par Area Count Report from the Reporting Menu.
