How to create Usage template

 

·      Select Operations tab and then Usage tab.

·      Select Create Template under Usage Menu.

·      Fill in the appropriate information and then click Add Template.

·      Select the Update tab to add items to the template.

 

·      There are 2 options to load inventory items to the usage template.

o     Select Add Items from inventory locations Search for items in an inventory location and add them to the template.

§      Select Display All Items Enter the quantities and then click Add / Go to line items button.

 

o     Select Import Items Import items from a tab delimited text file.

§      Items file must be a tab delimited plain text file in the following format, with no header row (all rows will be added): See example below

·      Location No <tab> Inventory No <tab> Hold Qty <tab> Use Qty <tab> UOM <tab> Conversion Factor <tab> Item Notes <new line>

Select Browse to add your text file of items

 

·      Select Browse to add your text file of items to import and then click the Upload button.

·      The system will let you know how many template items were imported. Click on the Line Items tab to review the items.
