What is a Par Area?

A Par Area is a group of products that are replenished by an Inventory Location(s).

As a Replenishment Order is processed, it creates a demand against the replenishment Location. If an Inventory Location doesn’’t have enough quantity to meet the Replenishment Order, the open quantity will be added to the Auto PO process for the replenishing Location. To view the demand on a product, go to the Inventory Master and select an Inventory Location and youll see the Replenishment Order Quantity for that item.
