Many times the auto-detect feature can get fooled by other com ports being used by other applications or other devices. We recommend you select the exact com port for the MC5401before uploading your data. Below are some troubleshooting steps to follow:
1) Make sure the MC5401 cable is firmly plugged into your computer.
2) If you use the USB cable, disconnect the MC5401 cable from your computer and plug it back in again. Now try the upload again.
3) Close your browser and log back into the application.
4) Restart your computer and try the upload again.
